  • IST is committed to protecting the privacy of anyone using any of its web sites and services and the confidentiality of any information that you provide to us.

Use and Collection of Personal Information

  • We record information such as the IP address and domain name from which you contact us and the pages you visit on the site. This information is used in aggregate primarily to improve our marketing efforts and develop the site appropriately.
  • We do NOT automatically get any personal information from you such as your phone number, email or postal address. Such personal information is only available to us if you supply it voluntarily.
  • When you register to use Appvox you will be asked for certain information to enable us to provide you with the Service, and you will be required to provide this information in order to use the Service.
  • We will use this data for two purposes only:
    • to provide you with the Service.
    • from time to time to send you information about our products and services. All such communication will be clearly identified as coming from IST.
  • We will not sell, rent, or otherwise distribute your information to other people or organisations, except as necessary to provide you with the Service.
  • In order to pay for the Service you will be required to provide necessary personal information including financial data, for example a Credit/Debit card number, to a third party in order to process the payment. We do not handle or store any of that information.
  • Appvox is a Service which enables people to create mobile applications. IST cannot and does not take responsibility for content created by users of Appvox. See the Appvox Terms of Service.

Data Storage and Security

  • All data that we hold about you is kept securely within our systems.
  • We endeavour to take reasonable steps to protect your personal information. However we cannot guarantee the security of any data that you disclose on-line and we will not be responsible for any breach of security unless this is due to our negligence or wilful default.
  • We use third party vendors and hosting partners to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage and related technology required to run the Service.
  • Although IST owns the code, databases and all rights to the Appvox Service, you retain all rights to your data.

Cookies

  • Cookies are small amounts of data including an alphanumeric identifier that we transfer to your computer system through your web browser to enable our systems to keep track of your session activity.
  • Cookies are required to use the Appvox Service.

Modification and Removal of Information

  • At any time you can modify the information we hold or have your name removed from, or added to, the list of names and addresses we use for mailings by using the Appvox Service or by sending an email to us at admin@appvox.com.

Disclosure

  • IST may disclose personal information but only under special circumstances, such as when legally required to do so or when your actions violate the Terms of Service.

  • We are based in the United Kingdom and all collected information is held in the United Kingdom.
  • We are registered under the Data Protection Act 1988 and comply with the act in all our dealings with your personal data.
